'I am cycling back from Istanbul back to Portugal, and my trip took me to Serbia. I arrived just yesterday and it’s stunning here at Djerdap. From the news, I knew it was part of former Yugoslavia and that it has a dark past, but I talked to some other cyclists who had come through this way and they told me how Serbian people were very hospitable people.
